The Explore Underwater Victoria (EUV) website is an initiative of the Victorian National Parks Association (VNPA) with support from Reef Watch and Museum Victoria.

The EUV website was funded by the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country, Coast Action/Coastcare Community Program and the Port Phillip and Westernport Catchment Management Authority.

Please click on the homepage logo links (bottom left) to find out more about all of these organisations and funders.

The EUV website is designed to be a central online porthole of Victorian underwater photographs, videos, group contacts and resource-links.

Our goal is to raise awareness, understanding and appreciation of Victoria’s natural marine environment as well as associated local coastal and marine activities and how to get involved.

Many of the images and underwater footage utilised in EUV were generated from a joint project between VNPA and Museum Victoria called 'Filling the gaps: revealing Victoria's hidden marine treasures'. This project was funded by the Coast Action/ Coastcare Community Program.

All other images used in EUV were generously donated by both professional and amateur photographers as well as organisations.  All images are the copyright of these photographers and organisations. For contact details of any of the photographers on the EUV site, simply click on their name, which is listed at the bottom of each image.
