Find a local group

There are many ways that you can become involved in contributing to the conservation and protection of Victoria's marine and coastal environments. Community groups and organisations exist across Victoria who are active and a helping hand is always appreciated.  It can be raising your hand to do a cleanup at Port Phillip Beach or keeping an eye on the nest of an endangered Hooded Plover, you're sure to find a fun way to get involved and experience our coast!

The types of activities you will find include: working with community groups, monitoring, visiting or helping in parks and sanctuaries, invasive species control, revegetation, education and campaigning for better protection and management.  There are many opportunities, whether you're at school or a retiree, so check out the list below of all groups operating in Victoria.

You can also use the Action filter to restrict the list of groups displayed to a particular type of activity you might be more interested in.
