Bellarine Catchment NetworkWhat We Do:Bellarine Catchment Network (BCN) is a community based natural resource management group. BCN supports community groups, land managers, private landholders, schools and the broader community in environmental awareness, education, management and on ground works. The Bellarine Catchment Network currently comprises of 18 Community Groups and Organisations. The vision of the BCN is to work towards healthy, well connected and resilient wetlands, waterways and native vegetation ecosystems; sustainable agricultural and land management practices; and a community which is engaged and involved in protecting and managing the natural environment. There are several projects the BCN runs to acheive this including education and awareness programs, pest plant and animal projects, monitoring and evaluation, community engagement and on ground works. You can easily become involved by joining a local group and there are many opportunities for volunteers. With diverse representation of community groups, government and agency organisations represented on the Network this leads to greater environmental outcomes over the entire Bellarine.
